Social Compass

Since 1953, Social Compass: International
Review of Sociology of Religion has provided a unique forum for all
scholars concerned with the sociology of religion. The journal is
interdisciplinary, publishing articles of interest to those working in
sociology, anthropology, religious studies, and theology.

Articles are in English or French.
Abstracts are always published in both languages.

Once a year, Social Compass contains
an international bibliography listing relevant articles appearing in more
than 130 sources in eight languages.

Every year, one issue is devoted to
papers delivered at the preceding biennial
ISSR conference. Papers presented at the conference plenary sessions appear a
year after the conference. Papers from other sessions at the ISSR
conferences appear in the following year.
